Greetings to all those of academic persuasion,

As the newly appointed President of the Royal Society, I hereby announce The Royal Society Rejuvenation Project!

All those who have reached out for membership within the last 5 years, I call to submit your papers and lectures, That of 2500, and for the moment using the Harvard referencing style, however, I am looking to develop a native referencing style. There is no direct topic required, I am a sociologist and cultural theorist, a bent towards topics of use to the nation, be it economic, social or educational.

All Fellows and Sinor fellows are encouraged to post their positions below as I am looking to develop an Education and Editorial Board.

As Some of you may know, my vision for the Society is to begin a Micronational Studies Academic journal, with the view to working collaboratively with fellow micronations as well as micronational entities who have an interest in the study of our societies and cultures. We also are in need of a web developer for a website for this endeavour.

I also wish to begin looking into the feasibility of a Talossan Educational institution that can provide training and academic support and supervision for Academic Thesis and qualifications.

It's an interesting world we live in, and I feel it's our job as La Società Rexhital per l'Avançamaintsch del Säp to study it and share it!

I do thank you for the enquiry,  and apologies for a protracted reply.
I have been, somewhat mootedly, been awaiting any further comments as to forward movement within the society and if any existing members wished to weigh in.
I felt this was important at the the time as I didn't wish to over step, namy on any toes.
I personally has actually been suffering a minor case of writers block of my own, as I feel as president, the precedent of membership of the society is that submitting a piece of work is minimum its of membership, I have found myself as of yet without work to submit to the society. Partly I wanted to build out upon my own masters thesis and see if it where possible to transpose it's nature of cyber-pragmatic tribalism across from intergenerational conflict cultural studies... I have however misplaced my original manuscript, which has made the process daunting and somewhat disheartening. I will strive to have this work produced as soon as I can find new literature to add my current deflated bibliography.

I do endeavour to start some form of advertising presently, in hope of having some form of competition or wider call for papers for what hopefully become a Micronational sociological journal, for which I at least intend to include my own work. I also hope to hear back from some correspondence at the his majesty's foreign office as to necessarily clearance to engage in international diplomatic efforts to try and gain a wider audience and submissions. I have not however been directly granted said diplomatic permission.

All this is in view of his majesty's year of community plans.

Thank you Tierceu for this update and I hope the writer's block passes sooner than mine. I've been working on a manuscript for about ten years now...

In update, I have found my previous thesis and intend to publish my introductory work "Lemon Juice Robbery, Corpo-personal feuds, Bubbles within Bubbles, Caveman jocking and The Terrarium that is Talossa" sometime in the next month, currently standing at 2300 words, and that's just the literature review mostly.

Hello, I would like to publish my thesis as well. It concerns UN reform so I doubt it will be of interest to most but would love to participate in this rejuvenation project.

Absolutely! Fundamentally, your offering of a thesis grants you fellowship to the society, whereas we used to only offer lessons, which adds an extra barrier of entry out of your knowledge sharing. And considering our 40% college/university educated population, many of us have at least a specialist subject they can talk about. This the main is a shift away from a of the previous model.

However, the project itself is also intended for a collection of talossan/micronational knowledge, of which we can publish said work together, share with fellow micronations and the wider world, as, each community of micronations operates in a quarzi-terrarium of culture, rules of society, political dynamics that may be of interest to mainline achademaia.
