Azul,

For those who don't know, I recently underwent a major surgery to try to limit the damage caused by Crohn's disease. I am back home and resting. This partly explains my absence from the kingdom. Partly, yes, but the other reason was that I needed a break.

I have now been a citizen of the Kingdom of Talossa for 27 years, and sometimes, one must take a step back.

I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome our new king.

Even though I personally remain a supporter of the republic and equality among citizens, the majority seem to value the monarchy, so I will accept living under a king. However, the Québec separatist in me will never love kings.

I'm glad to hear you are doing better. Crohn's disease is a difficult illness and I wish you all the best.
