How do we archive this board?  I would love native functionality to be able to make an archive of the whole of this Witt each week and in a format that is non-proprietary.

There is no native backup functionality from inside this forum, but it's as easy as making a backup of the database, which has to be done from my own end sadly.

Ugh.  Is it possible for me to have admin rights limited to making such backups?

I might be able to do you one better and set up an autobackup with a link you can just grab every week. I'll get back to you on this.

One thing is interesting, in URLs, "topic"-numbers in our forum don't start at '1'.  Topic number one resolves to a 404, and your first post on the main forum is numbered '4'.

That's because topics 1 to 3 were for testing. 1 was SMF's default welcome post, 2 was a sticky post I made to see how SMF handled it, and 3 was a locked post (same purpose). I deleted them before opening for registrations.

I'm getting a weird skew on my profile pic at the top of the page.  Maybe turn that off, since it's warped and skewed different ways over the past couple of days and doesn't seem necessary?

That's odd. Maybe try force refreshing (CTRL+F5)? I did change the code for that bit to accomodate longer nicknames and take away a weird rounded edge effect, but that skew is just not meant to be there.

Also, there is no icon in the mobile version telling me which boards have unread posts.

I see the coloured globe for new replies in sections, and a "New" tag on the individual threads, just like with the desktop version.

The emojis are definitely going to be replaced soon-ish, along with the other editor stock icons. Can't say much about what style I'll pick. (Talossa-themed emojis are definitely a possibility.)

Since apparently we are doing immigration on an unofficial forum, registration has now been set to admin approval. I am looking into giving immigration-related permissions to the Government before the required regulations are in place, together with the Chancery.

It's not a good look when the government is warned of something being illegal, and the reaction is "Oh yeah, my bad, imma continue though".

- All citizens are now in the Citizen group, which gives full posting permissions.
- All immigrants will be put in the Prospective Citizen group by Immigration officials, which now have permissions to manage accounts.
- Registration will be set to automatic approval again. This does not give any permissions; people still have to be verified and manually added to the correct group for people to be able to do basically anything.
- Still looking into locking down further: Prospectives should not be able to modify their own profile, non-Citizen/Prosp/Guest should not be able to see immigration and Chatroom threads

Ideally, the immigration workflow should be:
> account created and auto-approved
> Immigration officials (currently only Eðo) verify the profile and move it in the Prospective Citizen group; also manually set custom title, avatar
> Immigration period takes place
> Grant is issued
> Chancery officials move the new citizen to the Citizens group.

Note: I have moved all citizens in the Citizens group, but I have not done anything to the Prospectives (short of approving the accounts, which again does nothing from now on) because it's up to the MinInt to decide and verify and assign by himself.

All received.  I've had a quick look at my moderator dashboard, but I can't see the "prospectives" group on the group pages.  Just "citizens", "global mods" and "admins".
