You can do anything, really. I myself have served in numerous roles, before I ascended the Throne.

I think perhaps Jonas is really asking *how* to assume those roles?

In some cases it takes a long while, so you're best to start with something small. If you're interested in being a General, join the Zouaves as a private. If you're interested in becoming a Minister, run for election to the legislature, or ask an existing Minister to be a Deputy. And so on.
