Appointment of el Capitan del Altahal

Recently, we had to bid farewell to Sir Ian Plätschisch, el Capitan dels Zuavs del Altahal Rexhital (the captain of the Zouaves of the Royal Bodyguard).  As we were making inquiries about which individuals might wish to be promoted to fill the position, His Majesty wrote to offer his efforts.  This act of enthusiasm and patriotism will not surprise anyone, and His Grace is a particularly fitting person to be in charge of our premier cultural force.

Els Zuavs del Altahal Rexhital are dedicated to the recognition of the amazing work of our citizens.  Doing things like designing new cultural artifacts, running a competition, translating something, or most any other cultural achievement becomes a vehicle for promotion to higher ranks in the Zuavs.  A high rank is something that has serious bragging rights, since it shows you've done a great deal to make our little country into a bigger and more vibrant place.  His Grace has done an enormous amount of this, and we are sure that he do a wonderful job recognizing the contributions of others on a monthly basis (with assistance, of course).

Accordingly, as acting Minister of Defense, I hereby appoint @King Txec as el Capitan dels Zuavs del Altahal Rexhital.

I've added you to the rolls as a private.  Any cultural thing you do will earn a promotion to Private Second Class, and then it takes two more to be promoted to Private First Class.  And so on.  Welcome!

Thank you. Of all the offices I gave up upon my accession, this was one I regretted owing to its cultural importance. I'm happy to once again take up the reins of the Zouaves.
