Azul Tric'hard. Can you let us know whether you still feel like you did when you wrote your renunciation letter? I ask because what you're talking about - a refusal of the main political parties to deal with a sex pest unanimously condemned by the Ziu - is not going away, nor is it going to.

QuoteYour highness, @King Txec, due to some difficulties I have with the way certain issues are being handled by certain individuals within Talossa and my inability to understand the hatred for one citizen by a few others. I hereby step down from my position as Attorney General and renounce my seats in the Cosa and finally I renounce my citizenship. Until the recent hatred for one citizen I had really enjoyed my time as a Talossan but if someone can be ostracized because, in the opinion of some, he didn't apologize enough, then I want nothing to do with this country. @Breneir Tzaracomprada I am sorry for what you are being put through, I read your apology and for what it is worth I think it is well stated and well intended, I do not understand the hatred being directed at you and honestly I feel that certain other citizens here owe YOU an apology. Long live the King!

I still feel that the way it is being handled is wrong but I will be staying out of it

I said it before and I'll say it again. Thank you Tric'hard as your statement was very courageous. Others have contacted me privately, saying the same thing, but you are the only one to have spoken out publicly.

Just don't misunderstand, I am not condoning what you did, I just think it was handled wrongly.

Of course not Tric'hard, no misunderstanding at all. No one has said that to me only that the ostracism is wrong. You stating it publicly is the courageous act. I have worked hard to not say anything to Luc that would cause additional harm.

Azul, Tric'hard, and welcome back. I'd actually like to ask you about a different topic, if you don't mind.

Last year, as TCAT Spain was coming to an end, you had some rather concerning things to say about protestors and how you feel they should be treated. (I'll not link it here, since it's not viewable to non-citizens anyway.)

Given that most of Talossa is already working hard enough as it is to promote a less-toxic atmosphere, can you address the concerns some of us might have about a repeat of that sort of behavior?

Sir Lüc

I'm pretty busy organising the election and tweaking the database at the moment, but I still thought I'd offer some additional insight here.

Quote from: Breneir Tzaracomprada on July 17, 2026, 11:26:13 AMI have worked hard to not say anything to Luc that would cause additional harm.

Oh please, I ignored you for months after the fact to 1) avoid reliving the trauma, 2) because I do not engage with bullies, and 3) because in that same period I was taking up an office that required scrupulous political independence.

So much for having "worked hard to not say anything" when I'm the one who has deliberately avoided engaging with you for two years now, except when required by virtue of being SoS, or organising events you happened to take part in.

And in the rare occasions following the introduction of the censure SoZ when I did make a comment that wasn't at least neutral, you immediately belittled, patronised and bullied me again (exhibits one and two).

And lest we forget, you "worked hard" and promptly offered an uncalled-for encore with other people (Marcel and Iac are the ones that immediately come to mind), just to underline your belief that you did nothing wrong, and if anything, it's my (our) fault for perceiving your remarks as such.

So no, that's a lie. As many have already said, given your hollow nonapology, I doubt you've changed your mind on this at all, which is why I am perfectly happy to keep ignoring you and to keep building a better Talossa through positive contributions, within and without the Chancery, while you continue your self-imposed irrelevancy. But let's not suddenly pretend this is happening through a single ounce of effort on your part.

I was angry and I was being somewhat facetious when I suggested shooting people. I do however believe those people should be arrested and held for a reasonable amount of time as they were potentially putting themselves and others at serious risk of injury and potentially even death. If one of the bicyclists had wrecked they could have been seriously injured and imagine the damage and injuries that could have occured if a cyclist traveling at 60 miled per hour had swerved and gone into innocent bystanders, someone could have been seriously injured. I also have a major problem with people who think it is acceptable to disrupt other peoples lives because they disagree with something that is going on in the world. There are many things in the world I disagree with but I would never consider blocking a sporting event from occurring because I want to be noticed. If they want to stand near the road and hold up signs I have less of a problem with that but blocking roads whether for sporting events or simply to block traffic is just wrong and in my opinion counter-productive as it is more likely to anger people and turn them against whatever you are protesting. It certainly isn't likely to make me or anyone else stop and rethink their opinion. (sorry for my poor grammar)

Breneir Tzaracomprada

Luc, I really have avoided commenting on your appearance which is what I think caused you to be uncomfortable. I apologize and regret that I made you uncomfortable and caused you to feel less than safe here in Talossa. I can't change the past but I acknowledge that it was wrong, take responsibility for the impact it has had on you, and commit to continue refraining from saying anything to you that might cause a repeat of your discomfort.

If that does happen please let me know, Luc.
