Proposed Law: 63CL1 - Let's Not Mess This Up Act

WHEREAS the province has gone quiet; and

WHEREAS we need a functioning Cabana and Premieir; and

WHEREAS sometimes one needs to take the bull by the horns;

THEREFORE be it resolved by the Cabana that the following text of 59CL1, which currently reads:

Nominations for Premieir shall be opened by the current Premieir within one month of every National Election. Nomination periods shall be two weeks. The election for Premieir shall commence immediately upon the end of the nomination period. Elections for Premieir shall remain open for a period of two weeks.

Shall be amended to read:

Nominations for Premieir shall be opened by the current Premieir within one month of every National Election. Should the Premieir fail to open nominations, any member of the Cabana who has claimed a seat may open nominations. Nomination periods shall be two weeks. The election for Premieir shall commence immediately upon the end of the nomination period. Elections for Premieir shall remain open for a period of two weeks.
