Is it possible to make polls?

These must be real provincial mergers - not those nonsense proposals where merged provinces get double the Senats seats or whatever. All provinces must continue to be equal.

This is the only portion of your statement I disagree with. I will support a V-MM merger without extra representation because these two provinces happen to be the two smallest, but beyond that you could end up with provinces with almost twice as many citizens with as others, still with only one Senator.

Of course, if that is what the people want, then go for it, but I doubt there will be much movement if merging means losing a substantial amount of power. Maybe we need weighted Senate voting after all.

Are all of the proposals for more complex election processes more along the lines of "woah dude, what if we..." or should I actually incorporate them into the amendment.

I kept the election process the same in order to avoid making a huge omnibus change.

I'm really not convinced this is a good idea at all.

But if we absolutely have to, I think we should avoid any of the following:

- Anything that results in citizens joining thinking that they might one day become King.
- Anyone campaigning to become King.
- Anyone taking up civil service duties because it might make them King someday.
- Any parties campaigning to make their members King.
- Electing anyone we are not sure will be around for a long time (I can honestly think of very few Talossans who have been as consistently present for such a long time as King John). The best way to ensure this also means not...
- Electing anyone who hasn't already been around for a long time.
- A method that is so straightforward (or I guess simplistic) that it essentially turns the King into just another elected office.
- A method that results in someone being elected based on the hype of the day rather than long term appreciation (remember this is supposed to be an appointment for life.)

I agree that if any of this happened it would not be great, but it would still be better than the current situation, which is a Prince of Prospect who has not demonstrated one iota of interest in Talossa for years.

Apropos of nothing, since the PTB are afire about provincial mergers, I want to say that I am fully in favor of M-M absorbing other provinces (it is our right and destiny), but I have two preconditions that I think are absolutely necessary to such mergers:

1. We should add their cultural distinctiveness to our own, but not lose ours in the process.  The province should remain named "Maritiimi-Maxhestic" in large part, symbolically recognizing our extraordinary history as a beacon of provincial activity and prosperity.
2.  There should not be any diminution of M-M political power.  This means we should aim for a provincial merger that maintains the political separateness of the entities in order to preserve our Senats votes, confederating them without obliterating either.

This would not be a merger in any real sense.

What do people think of this?

I'm still not a huge fan of the numbered subsections, as there are not any numbered subsections anywhere else in the new OrgLaw, but I guess I can live with it as long as you remove the titles from the sections (sections are not named anywhere else either).

Is there a way to have personal messages arranged like they were on old Witt?
Nevermind, I just found the message settings menu.

I wasn't even thinking about the possibility of analyzing the data until now. Were individual responses recorded?

Why would a prospective need to be cautioned not to submit "irrelevant" information? We don't have any fields in the immigration form asking for information we don't need, and if they volunteer the information in the application essay, surely they think it is relevant.
