Quick programming note for viewers of this series:
August will be a very busy month for some of those behind Fora Talossa. Therefore, I will be trying to get the August edition of This Month in Talossan History out during the last week of July as I want to be sure it gets out.
I admire your commitment to release the videos and also I'm thankful for your consideration in informing us that you may not be entirely available to upload the video in August. We understand that not everybody can commit every single month to Talossan affaires and that's ok.

Hope everything goes well, S:reu Tzaracomprada.

Thank you, thank you S:reu Excelsio. Excelsio has to be one of the best Talossan surnames.

You want me to stay, I'll stay... but I'm 40 goddamn years old with a Masters Degree. I don't have anymore time in my life to argue with children! If I want to argue with kids, I have a 8 & 9 year old at home.

Davinescu

I would remind the Senator/Minister of the rules of Wittiquette and decorum. Please refrain from cursing or calling other citizens children.

Thank you Mr. Secretary

Let us also avoid commenting in this thread as it is a terpelaziun directed at the Seneschal (and so far anyone BUT the Seneschal has commented, including myself!)

I'll say again that you should remember to be even-handed in your advice, Mr. Secretary.

Edited to add tag @Dr. Txec Róibeard dal Nordselvă, Esq., O.SPM, SMM Mr. Secretary, I assume you will be charitable in your requests for decorum with your own party members? Coming from another 40-something with a Masters degree.

I have completed twenty wiki edits and request a day of observance entitled "Peacebuilders Day" honoring those whose work furthers the application of nonviolent solutions to contemporary problems, the awareness of structures of domination and unethical coercion in contemporary society, and the building of stronger and more vital communities.

@Bråneu Excelsio  other new citizens have requested a new citizen seat in this thread. Please use their request as a template.

I am enjoying Strange New Worlds. Especially the first episode. Pike's monologue to the Kylee rulers where he showed Earth's WWIII destruction was some of the best Trek I've seen. It really moved me.
There does appear to be more humor and more exploration of the main cast's backstories which deepens my interest and connection with the show overall.

I haven't seen the show but I was surprised to overhear a conversation the other day in which they were discussing the show as if it were fact LOL

Wait my mistake the show they were talking about was Stranger Things

I have yet to sit down and watch Stranger Things but still harbor some excitement for the start of the binge. If you check out Strange New Worlds I would love to hear your thoughts on the show.

I wanted to confirm that this resolution can bypass the CRL under the following section of El Lex:

Quote6.4. After a legislative proposal has spent at least 10 days in the Hopper, its proposer may request that it "move to committee". No bill may be Clarked without being "moved to committee", except as provided by Lex.H.6.2 or Lex.H.6.3.

as this resolution falls under the following exceptions mentioned in El Lex:

Quote6.2 A bill has passed the hopper if it has spent at least 10 days in the Hopper, and is exclusively limited to the following:
6.2.1 Non-binding proclamations that have no effect other than express the wish of the Cosa, Senate, or Ziu as a whole, in which case the bill must contain the words "Sense of the Cosa", "Sense of the Senate" or "Sense of the Ziu" in its title.
6.2.2. Proclamations that establish the position of the Ziu on a foreign policy issue.

This is correct, and the bill does not need review by the CRL, unless you think it would be helpful in some way.

Thank you very much Baron

@Tric'hard Lenxheir, just a heads up that your bill is now ready to be sent to the CRL committee.

And the way that is accomplished is that I am relinquishing one of my seats and he is reassigning it as party leader :-)

Thank you Baron. This must be an unprecedented act of civic generosity. Giving up seats for new citizens twice in one term.
