Wittenberg / Talossan Street Food
August 16, 2022, 03:42:53 PM
Was watching a program where the host was eating street food in Japan and it got me thinking. What would Talossan street food be like?

For me, street food should be convenient, inexpensive and delicious. What would you consider to be a good choice for Talossan street food?

No headwear allowed? Surely, there should be religious exceptions, right?

Fost! I didn't vote on this. If it still counts, I vote PËR.

Wittenberg / Re: Thoughts on Honorary Citizenship.

I have no problem with that. I was thinking we just give them citizenship without all the red tape us "normies" need to go through, ya know. Just reach out to them and be like, "Hey, want be Talossan?"

I guess I called it "honorary" because we'd be basically handing them a citizenship.

Wittenberg / Thoughts on Honorary Citizenship.
July 29, 2022, 02:11:16 PM
Has the idea of Honorary Citizenship ever been discussed? Is that something we want to discuss?

I've been watching a lot of Mystery Science Theater 3000 lately and I vaguely remember MST3K was (or maybe it still is) the official TV show of Talossa. I think if anyone would accept an Honorary Citizenship it would be the cast of that show. A citizenship from a crazy little nation going to the cast of a crazy little show.

It's just a thought I had and I was curious what everyone else thought about it.

Can we call them "Counties" instead of "Districts"?

I'm not much of a poker player, but (being from Michigan), I am an inveterate Euchre player.  Now, I know it's very popular in Michigan... what is its status in Wisconsin?

People play Euchre here but it's not really common. Growing up, Sheephead and Cribbage were the games of choice. Both are still popular but I see more people playing Cribbage these days.

More of this, please!

I'm not a poker player myself but I'm all about that non-political activity. If you livestream the tourney, I might just watch it.

I'm not even sure if we could negotiate with M-M to redraw the provincial boundaries. I'm not a politician nor a lawyer so we'd need some input from someone who actually knows what they're doing.

Totally off topic but I'd be down for an AirVenture meet-up.
