El Proïs is pretty self explanatory. It literally translates to "The Landing". The Cestours refer to the area has Hanson's Landing.

Below, you will find my preliminary map for Cuntat Manáweg.


The county seat, hereafter referred to as the 'Siada', will be El Proïs.

The county pennent, also know as the 'Vexilour', will be a triangular swallow tail with the top half being white and the bottom half being green.

The county colours are green and white. Green represents prosperity while white represents peace.

If this requires a proposal to make things official, I'm more than happy to write such a proposal.

If we're going to reduce the number of townships, I think Manaweg should be divided into 3 townships.

Township 13 is fine as it is. I think Township 14 should end at Corcoran Street, the former northern border of Township 73. This would create a third township, Township 15, which runs along the river.

I'm still interested in sorting this out. Pretty busy at the moment but I'll have time this weekend to work on this.

Cutting down the numbers would make naming everything easier. Do we need to change any laws to make this happen or can we do it without going through all that paperwork?

I've been working on naming the townships of Manaweg County and I've stumbled upon an issue.

If you look at the map with the townships, there is an unnumbered section in Manaweg County. It's located south of township 69 and east of township 65. I'm unsure which township this unidentified section belongs to. Logically, this section should be part of township 69 given that a large wholesale company occupies both township 69 and the unnumbered section. However, that section could very well be part of township 65 and I'm simple unaware of some law that makes it part of said township.

It's not the most pressing matter but it is something I'd like to address.

What are your thoughts on this topic? Is there a law that I am unaware of? Am I investing too much time and effort on this subject?

One of my townships will be called Kaldi. This goes back to the apocryphal story of the discovery of coffee. Legend has it that an Arab Ethiopian called Kaldi (or Khalid depending on the story) saw his goats eating berries that made them very excited. Turns out those berries were coffee. That's a summary of the story.

So don't steal that name, Bråneu. I'm watching you. ;D

How the hell do you say "kicker" in Talossan?!

I struggle with Talossan. I look up "kick" because I know that's going to be there. It's a verb, great. How do I make it a noun?

Before you lambast me, I know little to nothing about language.

I'd love to learn Talossan but I have no idea what any Las Recomendas says. I see a lot of words that my brain can't comprehend.

Trying to learn a language from a written guide is impossible for me. I need to hear the language being spoken in order for me to get it.

Fora Talossa does a decent job of providing audio lessons. I'm a big fan of Fora Talossa and what they're doing but the audio stuff is just decent...and not very helpful. I'd like a more conversational approach to learning Talossan.

My county will be called Manáweg County. Actually, that brings up an interesting point.

First, are we using the English "county" or the Talossan "cuntat"? Second, does the county bit go before or after the name? Is it Manáweg County, County Manáweg, Cuntat Manáweg or Manáweg Cuntat? Or is it something like Cuntat del Manáweg? Fost, is Manáweg feminine? Cuntat dal Manáweg?
