I don't recall that statement, can you direct me to where it appears?  I do see quite a few statements from you about turning the Kingdom into a Republic via the farce of calling a President "King" or perhaps "Queen".

The King has always the perogative to conduct his affairs as he chooses.  It matters not if the choice is to be away for a day, a year, or a decade.  Such is the nature of a Kingdom - other forms of government have other mechanisms of proscribed limitations on freedom of action.

There's certainly an argument to be made that the monarchic principle is more important than Talossa itself as a country - but be honest that you're making it.
