Yeah, I was just coming here to post that after posting it on talossa.net.
Talossan has a completely different grammar than English, one much closer to French. You can't "translate" by replacing individual words with their dictionary equivalents. For example, "celebratar" is the infinitive, "to celebrate"; you need the imperative, "celebratetz".
I know that
the current grammar of Talossan might be heavy going for newcomers, but it's easier to read and understand than Ben Madison's grammar from 1996 which I learned out of. Everyone who wants to try to use Talossan should read it first, then ask questions.
