I'm also a Cézembrean, from a time when citizens to provinces was done a bit differently for balance - I'm in Colorado USA.

Just wanted to check in with you regarding this discussion. While I may not hail from your fair province, if nothing else I thought I could supply a few ideas for discussion. I had two concepts pop up earlier this morning and thought I would share them with you here:
The first of these incorporates the national colors in a way that -- perhaps somewhat amusingly, perhaps not, depending on your perspective -- moves the flag closer to the roots of the Gwenn ha Du. Personally, I would say that if this design were something you wanted to explore further in order to avoid too radical a departure from your present flag, using a different ermine shape than the one I've got would likely be helpful, because I feel like these don't show up well from a distance.
The second is intended as a sort of representation of the island of Cézembre itself. The Zone Autorisée in the southeast (hence why the green ermines are down there, inverted from the usual order of the Bicoloreu -- "green means go") and the Zone Interdite in the northwest (red, of course, signifying the "off-limits" nature of this Zone). The black bendlets serve as a callback to the current flag, while also abstractly representing the rough internal boundaries of your island. This one is of course a larger shift in identity compared to the present flag, but if you are looking to craft a symbol that is all your own, would not a bigger change be required?
Quote from: Sir Lüc on February 27, 2025, 08:26:28 AMGiven that all three provinces have now confirmed to me they do not wish to organise their own Senatorial race, I think we're pretty safe to open registration to Senate races immediately.
Senate candidates can now register themselves in this thread by simply stating so (no additional information is necessary).

I thank the Member for his question.
The Permanent Secretary of Backend Administration has created our team on DigitalOcean, which, now that a minor snafu involving my webmail has been resolved, I should be able to join shortly and move forward on this process.
This is also a fitting moment to notify the Burgermeister of Inland Revenue (tagging @xpb ) that he may be required to join the team as well, for the purposes of setting up payment information. I will be reaching out with more information for him when it is available.
