My appologies for not being more attentive to this discussion.

I do agree that heraldry can be a topic of interest, as last I saw that mentioned on at least one recent application.

Are you still doing anything with that?

I did pickup some suitable paper to print on, but that's as far as I have gotten.

I will be helping out with https://whaaat.io/ leading up to Oct 25 then afterwards can take a look again - maybe there are others that would like a Cézembre homestead?  Any Talossan may request one within zone interdite.

Looking for an acknowledgement, however should this be Túischac'h or MinFin?

There seems to be a misunderstanding here. As Seneschal I am entitled to deputize for any minister. *I* am doing the acknowledging, issuing the notice as required by the budget legislation. Pay the nice man, Pol.

Looking forward to the discussion.  During the time frame leading up to it, I have been in the original location of the protagonist, and also read another series of seven books ( thus far) that has echoes of the initial duress, and also has a 4 letter name for the main character.

Cézembre / Re: Kingdom of Cézembre ?

I have referenced the Kingdom of Cézembre in past posts (some deemed seditious) but perhaps the current discussion of regalia can offer an opportunity.

þerxh, the next time you visit our fair isle perhaps you can pick up a stone roughly the size of a lemon?  We could then fashion a holder for it and present it to the King as the official scepter or holy hand grenade or some other flowey description to join the regalia, and encourage other entities within Talossa to do so as well.

Quote from: Istefan Perþonest on July 30, 2025, 07:48:32 AMThe whole symbolism of the sash as part of the Royal Regalia is to honor modern Talossa's substantial inheritance from the Republic. It should be left as-is.

Talossa's provinces are . . . well. The provinces, by and large, have been nominal. There have been brief periods of actual local activity in some of them (Fiova for a while after Reunison comes to mind), but as a group, most of the time, they're just a potential hook that isn't being used. And while they don't get created/destroyed/re-symbol-ized at a blistering pace, they do change often enough that I expect that if incorporated into a bit of national regalia, said item of regalia would spend most of its time out-of-date.

Fair enough - in light of this and other discussion it is perhaps high time for each province to discuss what they may wish to add to the regalia.  Hmm, perhaps the Holy Hand grenade of Cézembre...

If worn by a King or Queen that would be appropriate.
