No, the Seneschál is available and enthusiastic for all his official duties re: the State Opening; he only delegated the legislative stuff to me.

I am still very much around. I took a few days to go on a short holiday while interviewing with a University, but I am fully on board with moving forward. The issue is getting the King and the Op Leader together with me to officially get the ball rolling.

Where are we on this? Have the issues with the speech been resolved? Is scheduling happening?

This is very strange, because I've just had Cabinet Minister T. Roibeardescù tell me: "who are we waiting for? I thought we where waiting for the túischac'h?...At least I am as I offered to help set up the twitch live link... But haven't had a whiff of contact since he suggested it"

This is turning into a clusterfudge because the law does not actually say who should be organising the State Opening of the Cosa. I call upon the King, the Seneschál and the chairs of the Houses of the Ziu (or however many of them can be contacted) to get together right now and make a plan for moving forward

EDIT: I am an idiot, the Law says clearly: "The event shall be organized and conducted by the Speakers of both Houses of the Ziu"

The issue for me is that I can't schedule if I don't know on which days and times everyone is available. The whole event would be rather pointless if one or more of the people involved couldn't show up.

It's true that I haven't had contact with S:reu Rôibeardescù since, but as I see it, without knowing when the event even is (or can be), I didnt have anything to contact him about.

I am sorry that His Majesty hasn't gotten back to you more quickly.  I know he has a considerable amount of work responsibilities right now.  Did you text or call him up to deliver your legal threat?  That's often the quickest way to reach him.

I need to hear from The King, the Seneschal, the Dep Leader of the Opposition for the event itself and S:reu Rôibeardescù for the technical stuff.

For example, I didnt know the King was busy with work right now. When isnt he, and how about the others?

The Seneschál will be contacting the King directly, as the good Baron suggested, and hopefully we can move on from there.

ETA: In case anyone missed it, it will now be the job of @Muhammad Yasir, the only MC to vote against confidence in the current Government to make a rebuttal. I wonder if he, or his party leader, is aware - if not I think we will have to go without an Opposition reply.

Point of order. As the Túischac'h pointed out, neither XPB nor Dien are qualified to speak for the Opposition at the moment since both parties voted YES on the vote of confidence, and are not considered part of the Opposition at the moment. The only MC to actually vote in opposition to the Government is M. Yasir of the TNC. I wonder if he even knows he is currently the Leader of the Opposition.

The Seneschal and Mençei will both be able to attend, His Majesty probably wont, I have no info on the Tanaischteu (that is, S:reu Yasir) or S:reu Rôibeardescù and I can't attend for family reasons that only came up today.

S:reu Túischac'h, sorry to hear about the family issues you are having. I doubt MC Yasir will be able to participate this coming Sunday if that is the current plan. I am checking with him to be sure but am doubtful on such short notice.
