Messages - King Txec

#1
We have some time until the next Honors, which is Tafsut Imazighen (Berber Spring) Honours on April 20. Let's work on refining now because once I award these arms, they can't be changed.

By the way, you can refer to me as King Txec or Txec. The R in my signature is in reference to the word Regeu which means King. It's an ordinary way monarchs sign things so it can be excluded in normal conversation.

Quote from: Breneir Tzaracomprada on Yesterday at 10:49:18 AM@Sir Lüc Pluribus is good but some folks have complained about it being slow. I confess that I found myself liking the Joined.

I am currently planning to watch the new seasons of Paradise, For All Mankind, and need to restart watching Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.

The Queen and I just finished season 1 of Paradise and will start season 2 this week.

Here is a very preliminary draft of the elements you requested so far. Let me know what else you want or how you would like the arms to appear.

Quote from: Moinul Moin on March 17, 2026, 10:54:49 AMIs there anybody to help me?

@Baron Alexandreu Davinescu I am volunteering to assist S:reu Moin in his quest for arms. @Moinul Moin you are a lucky guy as you will receive assistance from the King of Talossa!

With that S:reu Moin, which color is your primary favorite and how do you envision your arms? I'd recommend checking out this page and getting some ideas. https://wiki.talossa.com/Arms_of_the_Gentry

Quote from: Béneditsch Ardpresteir on March 16, 2026, 10:20:52 AMSince our King uses Ermine, it's better to keep it out.

But if you want on black, we could have ermines (that's black base with white objects) sometimes also cale contra-ermine, or pean (that's black base with golden objects)

I actually don't have any problem with someone else using ermine. I used ermine since I was a brand-new citizen so it's not special in that respect.

Congratulations and welcome officially to Talossa!

This is starting to look awesome. One thing I would add is since you are using the Arms of the State, my signature should also appear under it in the same way it appears under the Arms on the ID cards.

I think something like a permsec would be better for continuity.

Maybe we should create a new Bureau of Signs and Licensing and put you in charge!

Wittenberg / Re: Citizenship Petition for Marcüs Causch
February 26, 2026, 02:16:59 PM
If S:reu Causch does indeed become Clerk of Courts, he'd be the only person in the kingdom who outranked the king, who is currently a deputy clerk of courts!

Also, mick!

Yeah I can see that as long as citizenship is not part of the deal.

I believe the concern is that some "micronations" like Slowjamastan, Sealand and Asgardia is that Talossa does not sell its citizenship, and it's right there in the oath "the best thing money can't buy." I'd be wary of subscription based stuff and prefer voluntary contributions (some kind of recognition would be nice though).

Wittenberg / Re: Mention of religion in the Kings' title
February 25, 2026, 02:17:45 PM
Quote from: Marcüs Causch on February 25, 2026, 01:58:43 PMWhy does the official title of the King contain the parts "by the Grace of God" and "Defender of the Faith"? I'm quite surprised that it is there even when our Kingdom is secular state (as I understand it).

Those are historical references and have been part of my title for many years. I talked about my view on "defender of the faith" here: https://wittenberg.talossa.com/index.php?topic=4913.msg40914#msg40914
