A few changes that should be made:

Despite this sentence on the Wikipedia article, there are currently no successors or heirs to the throne. Hereditary succession was abolished some time ago.

QuoteThe successors to the throne are the children of the Present King (Prince Patrick, Prince Peter, Princess Daniele)

Also, it's incorrect to refer to me as Txec I, as there is no other Txec who reigned after me. If another Txec were to come to the throne, then I would be Txec I.

Other than that, it is looking good!

Quote from: Baron Alexandreu Davinescu on Yesterday at 08:44:38 AMYou are very thoughtful about how you use your power, always respecting the democratic processes, so I'm pretty sure he didn't mean it that way.

No doubt. I am still curious how the current language conflicts with organic rights of citizens.

Quote from: Baron Alexandreu Davinescu on Yesterday at 08:10:43 AMBefore addressing the merits of the bill, I have to note that it seems to be implying that His Majesty is a "strongman."  I assume that's just inelegant phrasing, but it's probably something you want to fix.

I had the same thought when I read the bill.

I will note that I was a co-sponsor of the bill in the 44th Cosa that changed the original wording of the oath removing the words "to her sovereign king" and the word "pious" (as in pious fidelity).

I'd also like to hear how the current oath conflicts with organic rights.

Strongman...sure.

I am very honored Sir Iason and humbly accept your request for Royal Patronage in such a worthy endeavor as the Talossan Naval Relief Corps.

I may not be grasping the entirety of the proposal here, but I fail to see how the Senate is less democratic than the Cosa, as senators are actually elected by the people, whereas MC's are on a party list but don't actually run for election in their own right. Perhaps if we want to fix an imbalance, MC's should run for their seats instead.

Is the intent of MC Autofil to eventually convert the Senate into more of a UK style House of Lords? Why is our current setup a problem?

Quote from: Baron Alexandreu Davinescu on January 03, 2026, 06:10:30 PM...Head of the Church, Defender of the Faith

Ahem, what church is he head of? What faith is he defending?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Head of the church is not part of my title. As for "defender of the faith" that bit I think of like this: I defend all the various faiths of all the citizens of Talossa, not some specific state-sanctioned version. I personally am Roman Catholic, but I've never felt that my faith is superior or inferior to any other (or lack thereof). We are free to worship as we please, and I as sovereign, am the defender of that right.

I am a "back-up' admin for the sake of continuity and making sure someone always has access. I feel it is not my place to approve posts in general.

- Foxmouth

Judge Sir Ian is the correct form.

I would think that as you are the SVA, and the SKA is not as active, you might be the best contact for the Coletx.

I don't think I would be the appropriate contact for the Royal College of Arms any longer (plus it lists me as I once was known before I ascended the throne).

Interesting. And I also find it interesting how the prime minister actively responds to others hahahah. Thank you

We are all typically a friendly bunch and want our prospective to feel welcome!

Just as a point of protocol, typically discussions within the Coletx are among members. I'm sure the Squirrel Viceroy won't object too loudly, but just keep the norms we operate under in mind S:reu Malt.
