Wittenberg / License Plate Email
June 27, 2025, 07:41:56 PM
Azul @Barclamïu da Miéletz, I received the following email today and thought you might be interested:

QuoteRequest for a Talossan license plate or national emblem for museum display

Dear Government of the Kingdom of Talossa,

My name is Piotr Piersa, and I am the founder and curator of the License Plate and Vehicle Museum in Żeliszew, Poland — the only museum of its kind in our country and one of only two in Europe.

Our museum is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the history and symbolism of license plates and transportation identity from around the world — including unique and symbolic contributions from self-declared nations and micronations.

We are currently preparing our permanent exhibition, and we would be honored to include the Kingdom of Talossa in our international and cultural section. We would be deeply grateful for the possibility of receiving:
- A symbolic Talossan license plate, emblem, or national sign
- Or any representation of Talossa's unique identity (even digital artwork or documentation)

Our collection has been featured in national Polish television and media (TVP1 – Teleexpress), and we maintain a digital archive of press and photos on our website.

Such an addition would celebrate the creativity and global spirit of Talossa, and inspire our visitors with the richness of cultural self-expression.

I haven't replied yet as I thought I'd run it by my fellow Talossans first.

Azul and welcome!

I've been loosely following the events in Austenasia but beyond what I believe was a scam coup, I don't know much. I'm very interested to learn more from you and about your country.

We, TXEC by the Grace of God, King of Talossa and of all its Realms and Regions, King of Cézembre, Sovereign Lord and Protector of Pengöpäts and the New Falklands, Defender of the Faith, Leader of the Armed Forces, Viceroy of Hoxha and Vicar of Atatürk, Azul àd ár citaxhiens es cestours:

  • As to 61RZ04 - The 61st Cosă Budget Act: El Regeu en volt.
  • As to 61RZ05 - The Flip Molinar Ziua Auservada Act: I am very pleased by the passage of this bill. El Regeu en volt.
  • As to 61RZ08 - The Seneschal Appointment Anytime Amendment: El Regeu en volt
  • As to 61RZ09 - The Database: End Of An Era Act: This is surreal for me as a former Secretary of State and one who made very heavy use of Sir Martì-Páir Furxhéir's database for many years. His excellent work was the backbone of kingdom operations for years. El Regeu en volt.
  • As to 61RZ10 - Sense of the Ziu: The ICC and Upholding International Rule of Law: I don't even know if a Sense of the Ziu requires asssent of the Monarch, but even if it did not, this particular Sense is timed so appropriately as to be almost prescient given recent international events. Nevetheless, as it is a Sense of the Ziu and not legislation, I will not attach my signature, but I will voice my support.

We thank Our Cosa, Our Senäts, and our Secretary of State for their due diligence.

Given under Our hand Royal at the city of Riverside this twenty-second day of June, in the year of salvation 2025, of the independence of Talossa the forty-sixth, and of Our reign the first.

How wonderful that you and Sir GV were able to meet up at his concert! I don't suppose you have pictures? Also, how nice to see you on Witt Ian!

Perhaps everyone should just take a deep breath and go for a walk or something before this gets ugly.

There have actually been many applications. If they chose not to interact, that is out of anyone's control.

Quote from: Danihel Txechescu on June 13, 2025, 03:48:36 PMYour Maj, would it be possible to resume the good practice of attaching the text to the proclamation? Not only is it easier to read, it's also easier to parse/archive.

Yes of course, I meant to do that but was distracted. I've updated my post.

The Kingdom of Talossa stands in solidarity with immigrants of all nations. As a nation of immigrants, we value the voice and diversity that they bring to a nation. We abhor violence in all forms and expect that other developed nations should hold similar values. To that end, we hereby officially notify the government of the United States of America that we intend to levy sanctions against principal officers until the rule of law is fully restored and all citizens and residents of our macronational neighbor are treated with dignity and respect, in accordance with both the United States Constitution, and our own Covenants of Rights and Freedoms.

Sanctions shall be determined by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in due time.

Txec Regeu, King of Talossa

Quote from: King Txec on June 06, 2025, 09:47:57 AMWell we can hardly fault them for assumed names as we all use them also.

With respect your Majesty, no we don't. Most of us (not all) use Talossan-language translations of our real names. Proinsias de Rossa, whose name on his birth certificate was Frank Ross, was *not* using an assumed name.

This is kind of a point of honour for me, as I consider it one of the distinguishing features of Talossa from an RPG.

Yes, that was what I ineloquently was trying to say.

I take my role as chief diplomat seriously and both myself, the Minister and Deputy Minister are involved in the talks with the King of Carcosa and his chief ministers. I am the one who initiated contact. When I acceded I was asked by the Seneschal to embark on a good will tour of other nations and so that is what I've done. Carcosa, however, contacted me first. I reached out, and here we are.

There is nothing secret except that during diplomatic negotiations, not everything is public. Frankly, they had some really zany ideas and some good ones. I think both sides are eager and perhaps I am over-eager here. I would love to see this succeed, but it's not nefarious. No one here really has any experience in diplomacy so I think we are being extra careful not to screw things up.
