Quote from: Max Maltezos on Yesterday at 03:53:42 PMNo, I said that because I would remove him from office if I was the king, Your Majesty.

As this is a Constitutional Monarchy, my powers are limited, and I don't have the power to remove someone from office. I would suggest reading through the Organic Law and El Lexhatx. It's actually quite interesting reading, especially if you have any plans on becoming a legislator, as I think you did declare a new political party.

Quote from: Sir Lüc on Yesterday at 03:53:37 PMFurthermore, if you're asking because you want to vote, you will likely get your citizenship granted to you on time to vote in this election anyway, provided you stick around:)

If you're asking because you want to stand for election, I'm afraid it might be too late, but there is a provision for seats in the lower house to be granted by a party to people from outside its list of candidates, so check back in mid-December when seats are allocated I guess?

Don't forget also that new citizens are able to claim 1 seat in the Cosa under OrgLaw IV.

Sure, no problem.

You're right. I had quite forgotten that and should probably include Owen in PMs and such.

Two points: first, it seems that if the opposition did as most other parliamentary systems do, which is to employ a shadow cabinet, then could not the Shadow Immigration Minister perform this function?

Second: Chief Judge Edwards doesn't advise me in any substantial way, is not on my Privy Council, so I don't exactly know what you are referring to Baron. Puisne Judge Plätschisch is a member of the Privy Council, however, but his advice is limited to the functions of any other Guaír (as are you).

Quote from: Breneir Tzaracomprada on November 05, 2025, 10:59:11 AMHi King @King Txec

With the lack of response from European Talossans concerning the next Royal Coffee are you planning to indefinitely postpone future coffee chats? I am sure there are other citizens, like me, who would love to participate.

Also, for your second Independence Day speech Fora Talossa would love to distribute it as we did last year. Are you planning another video production?

Thanks for the reminder. I've been extraordinarily busy recently. I'm working on scheduling one now. I don't have anything specific planned just yet for Independence Day as my focus at the moment is on the anniversary of my Accession in a couple weeks.

Hey Mximo, I meant to ask you: you said you participated in municipal elections. Were you running for office?

We, TXEC by the Grace of God, King of Talossa and of all its Realms and Regions, King of Cézembre, Sovereign Lord and Protector of Pengöpäts and the New Falklands, Defender of the Faith, Leader of the Armed Forces, Viceroy of Hoxha and Vicar of Atatürk, Azul àd ár citaxhiens es cestours:

The Royal Commission on Immigration has concluded its work and makes the following recommendations issued via Letters Patent from His Majesty, King Txec.

The Royal Commission encourages the government yet to be elected for the 62nd Cosa to enact the following procedures, of which none require legislation:

  • Revive the Talossa Assistant Program. There are many suggestions as to how this could be enacted, including as a requirement for gaining seats in the Cosa (this would require legislation). Other ideas include inviting recent immigrants to participate. Quite obviously, the method is up for debate, however, it is clear that in the days when new immigrants had a TA, they felt more engaged and stayed active in the long term.
  • The Prime Minister's Patriotic Award has long been dormant. It should be one more method employed to encourage citizen participation in the immigration process.
  • The New Citizen's Guide, while still relevant, could use some refining and refreshing to update it. .
  • A renewed push for our existing institutions. For example, it used to be commonplace that new immigrants underwent the process to design and be awarded a Coat of Arms. This valued institution stands nearly dormant. It is also an excellent source of micronational activity.
  • The King would like to begin issuing Royal Charters, granting special status to Talossan organizations and businesses, sporting events, and charities. While this does not require legislation, the King would gladly work with MC's to craft a bill enshrining this into El. Lexhatx.
  • Continue with diplomatic efforts, led by the King and the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

The Royal Commission on Immigrations recognizes that progress has been made in the area of immigration and celebrates our newest citizens. Significant work still needs to be done to continue to grow the Kingdom. As one member of the commission asked, the intent is not simply to inflate our numbers. It is to ensure the longevity of our Kingdom which has stood and grown for decades as a testament to its people.

Given under Our hand Royal at Our palace in the city of Riverside this fourth day of November, in the year of salvation 2025, of the independence of Talossa the forty-sixth, and of Our reign the first.

Quote from: Breneir Tzaracomprada on October 29, 2025, 11:52:38 AMWe have seen a large influx of successful immigrants within the past weeks. It would be beneficial for us to highlight the causes of this recent success so as to replicate them during other downturns in the future.

I will start with one likely cause. The activities of @King Txec with particular emphasis on his public affairs outreach.

There are several proposals likely to come out of the Royal Commission as well but we do need to identify and regularize the successful methods of this moment.

I don't think I can take all the credit. Some of the activity could stem from my work, for example that Milwaukee Magazine article, but I suspect a good part of it came from that viral TikTok. Whatever the cause, I'm very excited to see all these new citizens coming in. Great work to everyone who has put in effort!

Also, the Royal Commission will produce a report, but your King has had an extraordinarily busy workload recently. We will finish the work soon.
